A Fight for Fairness in Franchising

The Fairer Franchise campaign was born from a shared story of broken trust, financial devastation, and an urgent need for accountability. It brings together 61 current and former Vodafone franchisees from across the UK who are standing up against what they believe to be a pattern of irrational, arbitrary and harmful decisions by one of the country’s largest telecom giants.

These individuals were once proud partners, many with long histories at Vodafone, who invested their time, money, and belief in a business model marketed as a true partnership. Instead, they claim they were subjected to actions that left them financially ruined, emotionally shattered, and, in many cases, physically unwell.

From abrupt commission cuts and unfair clawbacks to withheld government support and stores taken away with little to no notice, their stories are strikingly similar. What started as individual frustrations grew into a collective realisation that something bigger was at play. The Fairer Franchise campaign is their stand, not just for justice in their own lives, but for fairness across the franchising system.
